Today we were hosted by York North Rotary Club. In the morning we had breakfast and team
presentation at York North Rotary Club meeting:
After that we were picked up by vocational day hosts. Today every team member had two hosts. My first host Patti Stirk I have visited
Star Systems Engineering,
KioWare Kiosk Sofware,
Idea-Tree, Inc.,
Inside Out Creative, and with second host - Jeff Hines
The York Water Company. That I could see and better understand how marketing strategies are developed in different type of York companies:
Kęstutis had spent all vocational day in the York College of Pennsylvania (http://www.ycp.edu) with his host Dr. George Strouse. He had different meetings and discussions with faculty and president of College Dr. Waldner, visited Entrepreneurial Marketplace course and Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management course and had tour in York College campus on Corvette.
Maj visited the auditing company "ParenteBeard" in York. She spent time with Duane Moyer and his senior manager Stephen Snyder going over tax, auditing, financial statements, software for auditing etc.
Afterwards she visited the Lutheran Social Services program "VITA", which is a Volunter Income Tax Program in York helping people do their taxes. It was the last day for filing income tax, so it was a very busy to place.
Also all other team members had a great vocational day with their hosts.
